   We are grieving with you all on your lost, may the Lord grant you comfort and peace. I am so blessed that you have adopted so many children, I have 5 adopted brothers and sisters, and couldn’t imagine life with out them.

   Dear Renee, Dear children,

   I met Derek once at IHOP before he headed the school of music. His music and soul always resonated with trueness and passion. I see there was way more greater treasures to his life still : you all. I am so truly very sorry that you have lost him in all your lives…

   Father God, I ask for Your ministering angels to surround this whole beautiful family at this moment, give comfort and support, wisdom and strength to Tracie, and bring around her many trusted friends.

   We lost him, but we know You found Him, loving Father…

   Words fail me otherwise… but my soul will still be expressing grief and disbelief…

   My name is Hannah. Derek’s father was my dad’s (Dave Reichard’s) best man in his wedding. We listen to derek’s music in the car and I wanted to say I am praying for your family. I admire you and am praying for all the kids. Someday I hope to adopt also.. and this has inspired me to consider it more. Blessings and prayers be with you all.
