Absolutely agree! And John Piper is amazingly smart!

Have you read "Adopted For Life" by Russell Moore? It is a fantastic book!

Your family looks wonderful! I just can not believe how great the boys are looking! It warms my heart to see those smiles! I can not wait till I see them on my own girls once they are home!

I have a question: In previous posts you have talked about your family support workers. Can you please share a bit about what the role they have played? We are adopting 2 special needs girls, and do not have alot of support of family. I am wondering what other resources I can have in place for when they are finally home.

thanks, Kelly

Hello Loux Family-
We are so excited about finding your blog. We live in Stanberry, Mo. just a hop, skip and jump from you all. It has been truly amazing to find your blog. We have been searching online for info. about adopting children w/ DS. Low and behold after clicking on Reece's Rainbow we found info. about your family adopting 3 young king's into the Kingdom of God. That lead us to your blog and we have been in subtle awe since. I am writting this as my jaw is hangin b/c we can't believe how Gracious our Lord is. We are a christian family, we go to Word of Life Church in ST. Jo and the Holy Spirit has been speaking to us and leading us for several years regarding a vision that is quite awe-inspiring like yours. As we read about the vision you all have for orphans it's as if you were there in our vision somwhere just unable to see you. Does that make any sensen. sorry it is so humbling to us as we have been praying that the Lord would link us up w/those who would believe Him for exactly what you all are believing Him for. Orphans, the least of these, speaking for those who can't speak for themselves. We would be honored if you would contact us. God Bless Your Family and we hope to hear from you. Love and Grace in Jesus' Name

I so greatly appreciate the example you and your wife are to the world. Your words, actions and attitude of heart are just what God intents His children to have. Blessings as you work in His Kingdom!

Hi Arden!! Sorry you've had trouble hearing the video. If you'll go up to the right side of the page on our blog where the pictures cycle, there is a volume adjuster and you can turn the volume completely down. Let me know if you have any problems with this.
Love, hugs and blessings!

Hey Derek and Renee, just for your information, or maybe I am not technologically adept enough to figure it out...BUT, I cannot hear the video you put on your site because the music from your blog is playing all the time. Do you have a way that your readers can stop the blog music in order to hear the message by John Piper, or any other messages you may post here? Thanks tons! Love you guys, Arden
