It was the 'foster' daughter that we took in 10 years ago that we told you about at lunch the other day, that we had basically lost contact with. It was the first time she and I had really talked since being reunited this past summer, and she told me about what was going on in her family right now......I am in shock at the lengths that sin can take us, and her family has been 'steeped' in ALL of it. (I can share more of that with you later, it makes my hair stand on end.) I don't know how this little girl even survived, except I can see the hand of the Lord on her life. Anyway, I get off the phone in just a shocked stupor, and go back to your site, here. I read the re posted blog of Derek's journey in the Ukraine with Ethan....and feel sooo encouraged of how He (our Father) came after us. Just seeing how you felt then, and now how far Ethan has come... and knowing how far he will go!! It encourages me about Amber....we are fixing to meet for lunch today...Praise the Lord!!! He wants to heal her, I know it....AND her family! "Thank you Father for coming after us!!! We love you!!!" Bless you, Loux family! I remember reading it then and being moved by it and it was definitely worth reading again. I was actually just looking at a little guy who we could adopt through RR along with the little girl we are committed to. He has already been sent to an institution and I was wondering what his future would be outside those walls in a family.
